Sudan's Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, participated in a high-level roundtable in Washington on the humanitarian situation, early recovery efforts, and the rebuilding of the country's health system, with the participation of more than 45 international humanitarian organizations, donor institutions, and UN agencies.
The event secured US$150 million in financial and in-kind pledges to support humanitarian programs, early recovery, and the rehabilitation of Sudan's health sector.
The meeting was attended by Sudan's Ambassador to Washington and a number of diplomats.
