Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Malik Agar met with West Kordofan State Wali, Major General (Ret.) Hamid Hamad Terab, who briefed him on the security and humanitarian situation in the state and the challenges it faces.

Agar affirmed the government’s support for mobilization camps in the state to provide the Sudanese Armed Forces with recruits, as well as support for humanitarian efforts to assist internally displaced persons (IDPs).

The Wali said preparations were continuing at training and mobilization camps, pointing to the state’s efforts to provide shelter, health and relief assistance to IDPs, as well as government plans for the pre-liberation, liberation, and recovery phases.
