El-Alamein, (Nabaa Sudan) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in the Egyptian city of El-Alamein on Sunday at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi to participate in the consultative summit bringing together the leaders of Sudan, Egypt, Eritrea and Somalia.
The summit will discuss a number of regional issues and developments of common interest, as well as ways to enhance consultation and coordination among the leaders of the Horn of Africa countries in a manner that strengthens efforts to promote peace and stability and supports regional development and integration.
A number of Egyptian officials received Al-Burhan upon his arrival in El-Alamein. During the visit, he is scheduled to participate in the proceedings of the consultative summit.
