The General Command of the Sudanese Armed Forces announced that the army and supporting forces have liberated the areas of Om Garfa and Jireijikh on Sunday following successful military operations.

The statement said the operations inflicted heavy losses in personnel and equipment on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, forcing them to retreat and flee. It added that the Sudanese Armed Forces have thereby tightened their control over the Omdurman–El-Obeid export Road.

The General Command affirmed that the continued victories reflect the progress of military operations across various fronts, stressing that operations will continue until security and stability are restored throughout the country.
