The government of Blue Nile Region has confirmed that the region’s Governor, Ahmed Al‑Omda, is in good health, denying reports that he was targeted by a drone during a government meeting in the city of Sennar.
A statement issued by the official spokesperson’s office described the claims of the governor being injured as baseless and accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia of spreading these rumours.
