Cairo, (Nabaa Sudan) – Burundi President and African Union Chairperson Évariste Ndayishimiye praised the National Forces Coordination and its significant role and efforts during his meeting with President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan on the sidelines of the African Union Coordination Summit in the Egyptian city of El-Alamein.
The praise followed a meeting between the Burundian president and a delegation from the National Forces Coordination, headed by Mohamed Sidahmed Sir El-Khatim Al-Jakoumi, in Bujumbura, during which the coordination presented its views and position on Sudan’s status within the African Union, as well as the importance of restoring Sudan’s membership and full participation in the AU institutions.
