The Dar Hamar Emergency Room has revealed that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia abducted approximately 5,000 young men over the past few days in West Kordofan State, warning that their fate remains unknown amid continuing violations against civilians.
In a statement, the Emergency Room said the militia carried out a forced deportation operation on Tuesday morning, targeting thousands of young men and travellers along the (Wad Banda–Eyal Bakhit) road as they sought daily livelihoods. The victims were transported in a degrading manner to the city of Al-Nuhud, where they joined others who had previously been deported under unclear circumstances.
The Emergency Room stressed that these practices amount to a “silent liquidation” and constitute a flagrant violation of human rights. It held the RSF leadership fully responsible for the safety of all abducted and deported individuals, demanded the immediate disclosure of the fate of the missing, and urged human rights organizations to take urgent action to inspect suspected detention sites.
