The Sudanese government has presented intelligence documents to the United Nations and the Security Council accusing the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, which it says is financed by Emirati capital, of turning detention facilities in Darfur into cross-border “human slaughterhouses” for the execution of prisoners and trafficking in their organs.
A letter from Sudan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Al-Harith Idris, states that foreign doctors, including Colombian and Serbian nationals recruited by the militia, operated inside Dagrees Prison in Nyala, where they harvested vital organs from abducted civilians and military personnel before their bodies were buried in mass graves within the headquarters of the 16th Infantry Division in an effort to destroy forensic evidence.
The documents state that approximately 20,000 people are being held at Dagrees Prison, where they are subjected to brutal torture, including electric shocks and cigarette burns, and deprived of food.
The conditions have led to the spread of cholera and the deaths of four detainees each week from starvation.
The documents further state that since seizing control of Shala Prison in Al-Fashir in October 2025, the militia has detained minors and wounded military personnel, leaving them without medical treatment until their bodies deteriorated and forcing them to dig graves for fellow detainees. The documents also state that the militia executed 15 wounded individuals inside the dormitories of the University of Al-Fashir.
According to the Sudanese government, these findings demonstrate that the weapons and financial support originating from Abu Dhabi place the Emirati authorities under direct accusation as a partner in genocide and war crimes.
