Distribution of food baskets donated by President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, is continuing in El-Obeid for the benefit of 7,000 displaced families from West Kordofan State, under the supervision of the Federal Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC).

The Humanitarian Aid Commissioner in West Kordofan, Sabri Yousif Jubara, said the assistance includes food and non-food items. The aid is being distributed at shelters, as well as to employees of government institutions and higher education institutions.

He noted that the influx of displaced people into El-Obeid continues, calling for increased humanitarian assistance, particularly in the areas of food and shelter, to meet the growing needs of displaced communities.
