General Intelligence Service (GIS) announced a new round of promotions for a number of officers, the retirement of others, and the assignment of additional personnel to new duties.

In a statement issued on Monday, the GIS said the decision forms part of its annual and periodic personnel arrangements and reflects its institutional approach to renewing leadership, enhancing efficiency, and keeping pace with evolving operational requirements.

“The decision issued today includes promotions for a number of officers, the retirement of others, and the assignment of another group to new responsibilities as part of the General Intelligence Service's regular annual personnel arrangements and its commitment to institutional renewal, efficiency, and continuous development,” the statement said.

The GIS expressed its appreciation and gratitude to all personnel who dedicated their careers to serving the country, praising their commitment and sacrifices throughout their professional service.
