The Joint Force of the Armed Struggle Movements said that confessions by captured Rapid Support Forces (RSF) elements—documented in audio and video—revealed their involvement in covert air transfers via undisclosed routes and their participation in intensive combat training abroad under foreign experts, before being redeployed inside Sudan to carry out attacks targeting civilians and vital facilities.
In a statement on Sunday, the Joint Force affirmed that support provided to these militias extends beyond training to include technical equipment, field expertise, and coordinated transport and security arrangements—actions that prolong the conflict and undermine the country’s stability. It described these external interventions as a flagrant violation of international law and an assault on Sudan’s sovereignty and the will of its people.
The Joint Force called on the international community and regional organizations to assume their responsibilities and halt all forms of support to the militias, in line with international resolutions prohibiting the arming of rebel groups.
It added that its national forces remain at the highest levels of readiness and professionalism, continuing field operations with steady progress across all fronts, reaffirming their role as a shield for the nation and a barrier against any threat to its security and sovereignty.
The statement concluded by stressing that the Joint Force will disclose additional details regarding the confessions and external interventions at the appropriate time, ensuring the Sudanese people’s right to full transparency and proper documentation of RSF violations and those behind them.
