Director General of Sudan Airports Company, Sir-al-Khatum Babiker, revealed that flight schedules have been organized for national airlines to ensure the continued operation of Khartoum International Airport.
In an interview with Al Jazeera Mubasher, Babiker confirmed that international organizations have also submitted flight schedules to operate from the airport. On the question of airport security and the installation of an air defense system to repel RSF drones, he stated: “Yes, all praise be to Allah, we are secure, Allah willing.”
He added that the airport is operating at a capacity of four planes simultaneously, with full security and safe operations guaranteed for all flights.
