The Khartoum State Ministry of Health has confirmed that the state is free of Ebola and any similar disease outbreaks, while maintaining a high level of preparedness and implementing the necessary measures to respond to any potential public health emergencies.

The announcement came during a visit by a World Health Organization (WHO) delegation led by Regional Emergency Director Dr. Thomas Molife, which reviewed the health situation and the level of preparedness at several healthcare facilities across the state.

The delegation commended the level of preparedness and the response measures in place, while the Ministry of Health reaffirmed that its personnel are fully prepared to respond to any public health emergency.
