Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism Khalid Al-Eisir underscored the vital role of culture and arts in fostering social cohesion, praising Sudan’s rich cultural diversity and unified national spirit.
Speaking at the national event “An Evening in Love of the Homeland” under the slogan “Arts Unite Us” in support of the Sudanese Armed Forces and those affected by the war, held at the Red Sea State Union of Writers and Artists theatre, Al-Eisir lauded the collaborative efforts of the Union, the State Wali’s representative, Ministry staff, and technical teams in organizing the event.
He highlighted the warm reception of citizens from different regions as a testament to the deep interconnection among Sudanese communities and affirmed the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to partnering with stakeholders in culture, literature, and the arts to strengthen the national spirit.
Al-Eisir also praised the Port Sudan Union of Writers and Artists for supporting cultural initiatives, noting that the eastern Sudanese cultural environment exemplifies coexistence and national solidarity.
