Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – Legal expert Nabil Adib, a member of the Sudanese-Sudanese Dialogue Preparatory Committee, explained that the political track of the dialogue encompasses all political organizations without exception, whether independent parties, party alliances, or political blocs comprising several forces.
Speaking during a consultative meeting with media professionals today, Thursday, at the Cultural Center in Omdurman, Adib said the committee is continuing to communicate with all parties without exception. He noted that some groups have already initiated contact with the committee, with meetings held with them to discuss their visions and specific proposals on how they could help manage and organize the dialogue process.
Adib stressed that the committee does not interfere in the ideas or views of the various political components, nor does it seek to debate or influence them. Rather, its primary role is to encourage everyone to participate and seek their views on the organizational and procedural matters related to the dialogue.
Regarding the position of the “Sumoud” Alliance, Adib revealed that the alliance has been included among the forces targeted for outreach, noting that he had held direct discussions with Engineer Omar Al-Degair on the matter. He added that communication with the alliance has not yet produced final results due to some objections on its part, explaining that he asked them to submit their conditions and observations in writing to facilitate the arrangements. He affirmed that the alliance remains invited to participate and that the committee is awaiting its official response.
