Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris resumed his official duties on Monday in Khartoum following the return of the Hope Government to the capital.

He began with an inspection of the Ministry of Federal Governance and Rural Development, confirming its full resumption of work at its headquarters. The Prime Minister underscored the ministry’s pivotal role in coordinating between the center and the states, praised its skilled staff, and directed the completion of ongoing rehabilitation works within a set timeframe.

Minister Engineer Mohamed Kurtikrila Salih welcomed the visit, calling it a gesture of hope that motivates the ministry to further progress. He noted that the ministry, operational for six months, has advanced significantly in implementing its 90-day plan. The Prime Minister emphasized using the ministry’s halls to train and qualify human resources, especially from the states.

Accompanying him were Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Ali Mohamed Ali and Director of Government Properties Engineer Hashim Mohamed Abdal-Motalib.

The Prime Minister also visited the Ministries of Industry and Trade and Human Resources and Social Care, confirming their return to headquarters. Staff at both ministries welcomed the visit as a moral boost to enhance performance.
