Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris reaffirmed the Government of Hope’s commitment to alleviating poverty and promoting social justice, highlighting the improvement of living conditions for vulnerable groups as a top priority. He made the remarks during the launch of the Grand Karama (Dignity) Initiative, organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare, the Zakat Chamber in Red Sea State, and other relevant bodies.

The initiative introduces programs providing cash and in-kind support to vulnerable communities and Qur’anic schools (Khalawa), alongside orphan sponsorship, medical assistance, health insurance, and humanitarian convoys to internally displaced persons in Northern State. The Prime Minister praised the collaborative efforts of all participating entities and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to enhancing citizens’ welfare and advancing national economic development.
