Neyala, (Nabaa Sudan) – Local sources said that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia arrested a number of members of the Jaloul clan, one of the clans of the Mahamid tribe, in the Om Jalbagh area, northwest of El-Fashir in North Darfur State, according to Darfur24.
The sources said that the RSF militia carried out widespread arrests among herders from the Jaloul clan before transferring them to Dagris Prison in Nyala, South Darfur State, on allegations of espionage on behalf of Musa Hilal and Al-Nour Al-Guba.
The sources indicated that the RSF had tightened surveillance of incoming camel herders, believed to be coming from Kutum and Musa Hilal’s Damra, warning of a possible confrontation in Om Jalbagh in connection with the arrests.
