Saudi authorities have announced new updates to the Umrah visa, extending its validity to one full year (365 days) from the date of issuance, while maintaining a maximum cumulative stay of 90 days within the Kingdom during the visa's validity period.

Under the updated regulations, the visa allows multiple entries throughout its validity, provided that travellers complete all required procedures for each trip. These include coordination through an approved overseas agent and a licensed Saudi Umrah company, purchasing an approved service package, and obtaining an Umrah permit through the Nusuk application before travel.

The authorities stressed the importance of complying with regulations governing the Hajj season and prohibited stays in the Kingdom from 1 Dhu al-Qi'dah to 13 Dhu al-Hijjah.

They also urged Umrah companies and service providers to educate pilgrims on the distinction between the visa's one-year validity and the maximum permitted stay of 90 days, while ensuring compliance with all requirements before each entry into the Kingdom.
