Sudan’s Minister of Digital Transformation and Communications, Engineer Ahmed Al-Dirdiri Ghandour, attended the opening of the China–Africa Digital Technology Cooperation Center in Hangzhou as part of Sudan’s participation in digital transformation activities in Africa.
The Minister held talks with China’s Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology on expanding cooperation in telecommunications, information technology, digital transformation, capacity building and the exchange of expertise.
Ghandour expressed Sudan’s interest in benefiting from China’s experience in technology, artificial intelligence and digital government to support the development of Sudan’s digital infrastructure, build national capabilities and strengthen the country’s digital economy.
