Sudan’s Ambassador to China, Omar Issa Ahmed, met Tuesday with Mr. Wang Shaodan, President of the China–Africa Development Fund (CADFund), to explore enhanced cooperation in sustainable development.
Ambassador Omar Issa Ahmed highlighted Sudan’s political and economic developments and the challenges facing reconstruction, noting the Fund’s potential role in attracting Chinese investment in infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and mining.
Mr. Wang Shaodan affirmed CADFund’s readiness to support Sudanese development projects and strategic initiatives aimed at economic and social stability. The two sides also discussed ways to boost Chinese investment and deepen the bilateral strategic partnership.
