Deputy Governor of Darfur Region and Wali of Central Darfur, Mustafa Tambour, affirmed that negotiating with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia is no longer on the table, stressing that a military resolution is the only viable path.
Speaking to Al Jazeera Mubasher, Tambour stated that the military leadership’s position is clear: any discussion of a political solution cannot proceed unless the RSF lays down its arms, disbands its forces, and those responsible for crimes against civilians are held accountable.
