Sudan Refugees Commission Receives 177 Asylum Seekers Freed ‎from Human Trafficking Networks in Kassala

Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – The Sudan Refugees Commission received ‎‎177 asylum seekers who had been freed from human trafficking ‎networks at Al- Shagarab camps in Kassala State.‎

In a statement, the Commission said the freed individuals arrived at ‎the camps in difficult humanitarian and health conditions, noting that ‎basic necessities, clothing, hygiene supplies, and healthcare were ‎provided to them.‎

It said seven cases of injuries and signs of torture were identified ‎among the freed individuals and were treated at the camps.‎
