The General Command of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced that its forces, together with supporting forces, had liberated 11 areas in North Kordofan State following battles with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. The areas include Kajmar, Sharshar, Al-Baniya Al-Kirainiya, Al-Qulai'at, Awlad Hazma, Maquldat, Rishan, Al-Ga'ah, Ghabat-Al-Lagad, Al-Kukaiti, and the area around Al-Mazroub.

The General Command said extensive clearing operations had been carried out in areas west of El-Obeid, affirming that operations would continue until state sovereignty is fully restored and civilians are secured.
