Sudan's Prime Minister Affirms Commitment to Peace and National Principles, Warns Against Militia Threats
Sudanese Prime Minister Kamil told Al Jazeera that Sudan is a nation of peace advocates, but this peace cannot come at the expense of national principles.
He emphasized that the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) are strong and will not tolerate any form of colonialism, warning that the war could spill over into neighboring countries if the rebellious militias in Sudan are not stopped.
He also stated that attempts by some militias to establish an independent and separate state are unattainable, noting that the Rapid Support Forces’ (RSF) control over El-Fashir is meaningless given the killings they commit.
Furthermore, he confirmed that there is no famine in Sudan and that the government is working to ensure food security.
