He noted that a series of high-level meetings between officials of both sides has consistently advanced these collaborative relations and praised the exhibits presented by Egyptian military production companies at the Ministry’s pavilion.
He emphasized DIS’s focus on strengthening ties with Egyptian companies, particularly those in military production, which are recognized for their advanced technological capabilities, sophisticated manufacturing infrastructure, and skilled workforce. Such collaboration, he noted, reinforces the historic and enduring ties between Sudan and Egypt.
General Idris also commended the exemplary organization of “EDEX 2025,” highlighting that the exhibition reflects Egypt’s prominence and strategic strength. He added that his participation aims to establish strategic partnerships and explore new avenues for military cooperation with leading international defence companies.
Engineer Mustafa reaffirmed the depth of historic ties between Egypt and Sudan, noting that bilateral relations have strengthened in recent years with strong political support from both countries, in line with the aspirations of their peoples.
He expressed optimism that the meeting would help establish practical mechanisms for advancing military manufacturing cooperation, emphasizing that both sides agree any integration between Egyptian and Sudanese military production companies should be based on strategic partnerships that yield mutual benefits.
