Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salem received a phone call from Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy, during which the two exchanged congratulations on the Minister's appointment to his new position and reaffirmed the importance of strengthening joint Arab action.

The conversation also addressed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between Sudan and the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, with both sides emphasizing the importance of continuing consultations on regional and international issues of mutual interest in support of shared Arab interests.
