Sudan’s Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil Idris, has directed the concerned bodies of the Government of Hope to urgently restore water, electricity, and sanitation services in the Bahri area.

During his Monday visit to Bahri and Saad Gishra markets, he emphasized that citizens’ livelihoods, security, and access to essential services—including water, electricity, health, and education—remain government priorities. He praised residents for their patience amid the country’s exceptional circumstances and conveyed greetings from TSC President and Commander-in-Chief General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan.

The Prime Minister urged Bahri residents to return to their homes, encouraged traders to resume market activities, and invited investors to explore opportunities in solar energy. Citizens and traders welcomed the visit, noting it demonstrated the government’s commitment to addressing public concerns.
