President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in Asmara on Friday on a fraternal visit aimed at strengthening Sudan-Eritrea relations.

Al-Burhan was received at Asmara International Airport by Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki.

The two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and discussed ways to expand cooperation across a range of sectors. They also reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding fraternal ties between the two countries.

The visit reflects Sudan's commitment to deepening cooperation with neighboring Eritrea and highlights the close coordination between the two countries on regional and international issues, as well as their shared commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region.
