Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, General Yasser Al-Atta, announced that President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, has issued decisive directives for the army and supporting forces to advance in successive waves until all Sudanese territory is liberated from the control of the rebellious militia.
In press statements, General Al-Atta affirmed the highest level of readiness among all military units and formations, noting that the Armed Forces across all fronts maintain high morale, strong combat preparedness, and fully integrated military and logistical capabilities to begin the next phase of field operations. He said the forces would continue their successive advances to defeat the rebels and secure all parts of the country.
