The Zakat Chamber announced that its central library lost nearly 85 percent of its core reference materials during the war, in addition to its database and electronic equipment, significantly affecting its scientific, academic and knowledge services.
The chamber explained that the library serves as an important academic reference benefiting students inside and outside Sudan, as well as Zakat funds in a number of Islamic countries.
