Sudanese Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Lamia Abdel-Ghaffar, returned home after attending the 2nd Ministerial Conference of the Russian-African Forum in Cairo (Dec 19-20).
She highlighted Russia’s strong support for Sudan amid the current crisis and emphasized strengthening strategic ties following September’s economic and trade agreements. Dr. Lamia Abdel-Ghaffar also outlined the 2023-2026 Russian-African action plan and the forum’s role in advancing Africa’s 2026 development agenda.
The conference concluded with a joint communiqué endorsing economic cooperation, sustainable development, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and respect for African sovereignty.
