The Sudanese Armed Forces said their troops, alongside joint forces, repelled attacks by the Al-Dagalo militia and allied mercenaries over the past 24 hours, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and equipment.
In a statement, the army said fighting in Al-Tina resulted in the destruction of 35 combat vehicles and the seizure of 49 others, with dozens of enemy fighters killed.
It added that clashes in Al-Dalang led to the destruction of five vehicles and the capture of four others, along with several motorcycles and communications equipment.
The army further reported heavy losses inflicted on militia forces in Bara, affirming that operations are ongoing to eliminate the militia and restore security and stability.
