Sudan’s Ambassador to Cairo, Imad Al-Din Adawi, revealed the existence of joint committees between Sudan and Egypt that address consular affairs, border crossings, and trade, underscoring the importance of strengthening ties with what he described as Sudan’s sister nation, Egypt.

His remarks came at the conclusion of the third preparatory workshop for the Sudanese-Egyptian Business Forum, held at Al-Manara International Conference Center. He highlighted national efforts aimed at restoring the health of Sudan’s banking sector and expanding financing for priority economic domains. He also reaffirmed the commitment to advancing banking and commercial cooperation between the two countries and encouraging the export of Sudanese goods through official channels.
