The Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries on Monday launched its official website as part of efforts to advance digital transformation and facilitate access to information and services for producers, livestock breeders and investors.
The website was launched by Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries Professor Ahmed Al-Tijani Al-Mansouri, in the presence of Undersecretary Dr. Ammar Al-Sheikh Idris, a number of directorate directors and representatives of relevant institutions.
Al-Mansouri said the website would serve as a platform for publishing ministry news, decisions, programmes, and technical and advisory information, as well as showcasing Sudanese livestock investment opportunities and animal products and promoting them regionally and internationally.
Director of the Digital Transformation Unit Dr. Bushra Hamad Abdel-Rahman said the website provides a range of electronic services, including licensing, technical reports, a livestock breeders’ directory and market prices, with its content updated regularly.
The ministry’s Undersecretary stressed the importance of continuously developing the platform to meet users’ needs and enhance its role in marketing livestock products.
