Istanbul (Nabaa Sudan) – Sudan’s Minister of Trade, Mahasin Ali Yagoub, discussed with her Libyan counterpart, Suhail Abu Shiha, ways to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Sudan and Libya, particularly in the areas of cross-border trade, the transportation of goods and petroleum products, and regulating capital flows.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the meetings of the Permanent Committee for Economic and Trade Cooperation in Istanbul, also addressed cooperation in food security amid climate and environmental changes, as well as forthcoming agreements aimed at increasing the volume of trade between the two countries.
Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening communication and joint coordination in a manner that serves the economic and trade interests of Sudan and Libya.
