Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – The Sudanese Mineral Resources Company announced record levels of gold production, revenues, and gold export proceeds, according to cumulative performance results through September 2026, marking the highest levels since the company was established.
At its executive office meeting held Tuesday at the company’s headquarters in Khartoum, the company reviewed its cumulative performance indicators. Gold production reached 105 percent of the planned target for 2026.
The company achieved 131 percent of its revenue target, with revenues amounting to approximately SDG 1.886 trillion, while gold export proceeds reached $2.292 billion.
The company’s Director General, Mohamed Tahir Omer, commended the efforts of employees and partners in the mining process, directing that efforts be redoubled to address obstacles facing mining activities and overcome the challenges confronting the sector.
Omer stressed the importance of continued attention to the environment, safety, and mining extension services, as well as completing the digital transformation process in order to enhance the efficiency of the mining sector and strengthen its contribution to the Sudanese economy.
