The Iranian Armed Forces announced today that they carried out attacks on U.S. military bases in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar.
Qatari authorities reported that one Iranian missile was intercepted using the Patriot defense system, while another missile was also intercepted over Doha. This prompted the Qatari government to issue urgent mobile alerts warning citizens to stay away from military installations and remain in their homes.
Loud explosions were heard in Abu Dhabi and Kuwait, while plumes of smoke were seen rising in Bahrain.
Meanwhile, the Syrian General Civil Aviation Authority announced the temporary closure of southern air corridors to air traffic.
