Sudan’s Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, has announced plans to establish a Specialized Training Center under the Arab Board of Health Specializations. The center will be the country’s main hub for training and accrediting medical personnel to international standards.
Dr. Haitham said the center will offer advanced curricula to boost the skills of trainers and trainees, with full government support in funding, logistics, and personnel. The initiative aims to train 1,000 medical staff in its next phase, strengthening Sudan’s health workforce and supporting the recovery of a system that has regained over 70% of its capacity despite war challenges.
