The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) destroyed 11 combat vehicles belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the vicinity of Ghesan in Blue Nile State, inflicting significant losses on the militia and forcing its elements to withdraw from the city.

The military operation came amid intense fighting in and around Ghesan, where the armed forces and supporting units have been confronting attacks and military movements targeting the area. The destruction of the combat vehicles significantly undermined the militia’s operational capabilities and disrupted its ability to maintain its positions and advance toward the city.

Following the strikes and the pressure exerted by the Sudanese Armed Forces, RSF elements retreated from Ghesan, while army units continued operations to secure the area and strengthen control over the city and its surrounding approaches.
