War Crime: Rapid Support Forces Militia Recruits Children for Combat

The Moral Guidance Directorate of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has published a video reportedly showing the recruitment of children to fight in military theaters inside the country, in violation of international law.
The footage shows Hussein Khaddam and Al-Fadil Mansour urging children to join combat operations.
The recruitment of children — defined as persons under 15 years of age, or under 18 under certain protocols — in armed conflict constitutes a war crime under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and customary international humanitarian law. Penalties may include international criminal prosecution, lengthy prison sentences, and individual criminal responsibility for commanders and participating forces.
