Al-Burhan Reviews Work Progress at Secondary School Certificate Examination Control Center and Commends Teachers’ Efforts

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, inspected the Secondary School Certificate Examination Control Center as part of the state leadership's commitment to following up on the examination process and supporting the education sector.

The TSC President received a briefing from Minister of National Education, Dr. Al-Tohami Al-Zain Hajar on the progress of marking and grade-recording of the Secondary School Certificate examinations and the stages completed by the relevant committees.

During his meeting with the male and female teachers participating in the marking and grade-recording process, Al-Burhan praised their national efforts and their commitment to carrying out their noble mission despite the exceptional circumstances facing the country. He affirmed that teachers represent the cornerstone of building Sudan's future, commending their sacrifices across all parts of the country to ensure the success of this national milestone and to support the Battle of Dignity and Pride.

He also stressed the state's commitment to cooperating with the ministry to provide a suitable working environment that enables educational personnel to perform their duties to the fullest and advance the educational process to secure a better future for students.

Al-Burhan announced the rehabilitation of the ministry's old printing press and the establishment of a dedicated examination printing press to develop infrastructure and enhance the ministry's capacity to manage and secure examinations efficiently.
