Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – Democratic Bloc leader Jaafar Al-Mirghani called on the Preparatory Committee for the Sudanese-Sudanese Dialogue to expedite its work and announce the consultation schedule, while ensuring the participation of Sudanese citizens in the diaspora and internally displaced persons (IDPs).

In a post on Facebook, Al-Mirghani said that the decisions issued by President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan to create a conducive environment for dialogue represent a step toward achieving consensus, noting that developments on the ground give the dialogue greater weight.

He stressed that the role of the state should be limited to ensuring the dialogue, without owning or controlling the dialogue process.
