Gebreil Ibrahim, Head of the Justice and Equality Movement (TEM), affirmed that Sudan will not permit the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia to have any political or military role in the future, stressing that the state is moving forward to “liberate every inch of the country.”

In a post on Facebook, Ibrahim stated that he conveyed this position clearly to the delegation of the Swiss Agency for Development during his meeting with them, noting that the discussion focused on the latest developments in Sudan.

He also called for an end to what he described as “the exploitation of humanitarian corridors for activities unrelated to relief efforts.”
