Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Prof. Ahmed Modawi Musa announced an agreement with the Turkish side to establish the Sudanese-Turkish University in Khartoum, describing it as a strategic project to deepen academic and research cooperation between the two countries.
The minister said the university will offer advanced opportunities in technology, artificial intelligence, and modern sciences, while facilitating expertise exchange and capacity building to support Sudan’s reconstruction and development efforts.
He noted that several agreements and cooperation memoranda have already been signed between Sudanese and Turkish universities, adding that the next phase will focus on translating these agreements into practical programs and projects to strengthen the capacity of Sudan’s higher education institutions.
