Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Professor Ahmed Modawi Musa said the return of higher education institutions to their original campuses had become a reality, with universities gradually regaining academic stability and regularizing the educational process.

During an inspection visit to the International University of Sudan, the Minister reviewed examinations being conducted by several faculties at the university’s main campus in Al-Azhari, Khartoum, and observed students sitting their examinations on campus.

He praised the return of students to the university’s main campus and the closure of internal centers, as well as efforts to regularize the status of students who had been studying at external centers.

The Minister said the situation he witnessed reflected tangible progress in restoring universities to their original campuses and expressed satisfaction at seeing large numbers of students taking their examinations in a stable and well-organized university environment.
