Governor Darfur Region and Democratic Bloc leader Minni Arko Minawi stressed that the Sudanese dialogue must be based on Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and conducted free from any dictates or influence by militias or external interference.
Minawi emphasized the need for the dialogue to result in the withdrawal of all militias and foreign forces from the country, describing this as essential to achieving stability and upholding state sovereignty.
He also underscored the importance of securing international and regional guarantees to ensure the implementation of the dialogue’s outcomes according to clear timelines and defined mechanisms, enabling a transition from political agreements to effective implementation.
