Minister of Youth and Sports Professor Ahmed Adam Ahmed announced a comprehensive plan to rehabilitate youth and sports infrastructure in Khartoum State, noting that about 95% of facilities were destroyed during the war.
Speaking at the 52nd SUNA briefing forum in Omdurman, he outlined damage assessments, committee formation, and reconstruction plans.
He highlighted youth participation in rebuilding schools, hospitals, and sports facilities, reflecting strong national engagement.
He also pointed to the successful “Khartoum Festival,” marking the return of sporting activity, and outlined outcomes of the First Youth Conference in River Nile State, including plans for a youth industrial city, training programs, financing initiatives, and postgraduate opportunities.
