The Sudanese Armed Forces' official spokesperson announced that ground air defense units successfully shot down a strategic drone belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. The aircraft, identified as an FH-95 drone, was intercepted northwest of the city of El Obeid at around midday today, Monday.

According to the statement, the drone was brought down as part of ongoing efforts to counter hostile attempts targeting the city, underscoring the readiness of the Armed Forces' air defense systems to respond to any threats against civilians and vital infrastructure.
