Sudanese military sources have confirmed the destruction of two major supply sites used by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia along the Sudanese–Chadian and Sudanese–Libyan borders.
The supply triangle extending from Libya and Chad toward Darfur’s main cities has long been a concern for the Sudanese Armed Forces. Sources told Sudan Tribune that approximately 21 pre-emptive strikes targeted militia supplies en route to the country via the northwestern and western borders.
The sources declined to specify the exact nature of the supplies but indicated they included jamming devices and drones. They added that the two largest sites delivering logistical support along the western border were completely destroyed, without revealing precise locations.
The Sudanese government has accused Chad of providing logistical support to the RSF, while General Khalifa Haftar’s forces in Libya are also alleged to have transported supplies to the militia. Military sources confirmed that the Air Defense Command and the Air Force are closely monitoring the Sudanese–Chadian and Sudanese–Libyan borders.
